Babies and their birth are traditional symbols of the arrival of a new year.It gives me great pleasure, this new year's day 2010, to announce the birth of a brand-new progressive catholic blogsite, The Open Tabernacle.
The Open Tabernacle is a collaborative community of progressive catholic bloggers exploring themes of interest to people of faith (and to people of good will without a faith commitment) seeking to build a more humane world.
I invite you to explore this new site, and as I do so, I also want to issue a word of profound thanks to Terry Weldon, in particular, for his hard work in developing this site in time for the new year.
